My Dad
This week, we found out that my dad has a suspicious looking growth in his stomach. He is scheduled for a biopsy next Tuesday. Please pray with me that this will turn out to be benign, and that it will be an easy fix – whatever it is.
Thanks!

I’ll be praying through the waiting. Not having an answer seems to be the hardest to grapple with, or at least it is for me.

Lord,
I pray you’ll hover over Renae, her Dad, and entire family. This week give them new confidence in You and Your plans. Give them new comfort and ease their fears. Lord, do Your will in their lives. May this health issue bring You glory in its every detail. Show Your power, Your greatnes, Your healing in this event in their lives.
In the beautiful, healing name of Jesus I pray.
Amen

Hi Renae!
Thinking of you and your family and praying for good news and healing! I also went back and reread the post about your Dad … oh my! So he kept that policeman uniform on when your boyfriends came over, eh?! Now that’s a mark of a good Dad!

I have been thinking of you and praying for your dad and all of you ever since I read your post. Today we went hiking in the mountains again, and while Barry and Trent were on a trail more difficult than I felt I could tackle, I sat on a bench looking far across the ravine at a high rocky cliff and felt God’s power and the grandeur of what He has made. I sat there and made my requests known to God for your dad… He can do anything, and He can do everything, and He loves you…

Oh, Renae, please know I’m praying for your dad. You have a great dad like I had. We’re both very blessed, aren’t we?

Dearest One,
So sorry to hear this news. This very time last year you were praying for my precious loved one who was going through a biopsy for a lump on her thyroid.
You encouraged me greatly with your prayers and concern – you prayed that she would go on to have children and grandchildren down the road. And she survived the crisis and is healthy and strong now.
Do you remember?
Now I encourage you that your dear father is in the precious Father’s hands.
I lift him up to you, dear Lord, for you love him more than we ever could.
Give Renae, Mark, her mom and Renae’s entire family peace as they walk through this process.
And the deep, abiding knowledge that with You, “All is Well, all is well, with my soul.”
Love you so,
Jlo
