Great, Daniel! That should be the prayer for all of us, shouldn't it?

And SueNell, ;-) you're right. Our Father blesses us more than we can ever imagine.

Oh, dear one, this is one of the sweetest pieces of yours I've read.
A touching and beautiful picture that I will carry with me forever.
You are a gifted daughter of the Father and are truly dressed in His gentle garb.
I am honored to have you as a friend,
Jlo

I agree, Sarah. It is wonderful to be loved like that. I thought of something else after I posted - you know how God represents safety and love and all those wonderful things to us? (And how ideally, we should represent those things to our children?) As we imitate Him, we start to become those things for people around us. Oh, how I've longed for a "safe place" or person at times in my life! That is what we are when we imitate Him - we become "God with skin on" so to speak.

Anyway, enough of my rambling! As always, great to see you. :-)

Loved the water pump story very much. It is quite timely to my current (ahem) situation with a friend of mine, which I believe you read about on my blog post recently. I have found forgiveness (because I did shoot off my mouth and planted seeds of doubt about her - on my blog! - but that wasn't my intention). Anyway, forgiveness is about what you said: you keep pumping at the good things in life and there won't be room for the gunky junk.

Your story today is close to my heart. My girl loves to "borrow" my makeup, hair stuff, shower gel, jewelry, everything! It is nice to be loved like that (by her and by God).

God bless!

Adorable! I wish I could have seen it. Perhaps I'll see a picture of it on Lift my Noise? ;-)
